Save Vanderbilt Beach Inc is a Florida non-profit 501(c)4 corporation, the mission of which is to protect the residents of the Vanderbilt Beach and Naples Park neighborhoods from unreasonable development, and in a more general sense, to protect all of Collier County’s residents who are users of Vanderbilt Beach, itself, by promoting continued and improving access.
The corporation was founded by Buzz Victor, a seasonal resident of the Vanderbilt Beach neighborhood. He has a more than 40-yearbackground in real estate development, with an emphasis in the self-storage industry. He is a strong supporter of reasonable, neighborhood-sensitive development.
The website, www.savevanderbiltbeach.com, was first conceived in 2017, when Stock Development first submitted One Naples plans to the County. At that time, because the Stock development was withdrawn, development of the site was not completed, and it was never brought online. In October 2019, when Stock returned with new plans for the project, the website was completed, and it went live in late January 2020.
All funds raised by Save Vanderbilt Beach will be used to further its mission. Beginning at the end of February 2020, monthly financials will be published, including an Income Statement and Balance Sheet.
